Mission
The mission of the Los Fresnos C.I.S.D. Library Media Center is to foster lifelong learners by introducing and providing access to print and digital 21st Century resources for all students, staff, and parents.
Message from your librarian:
I hope you have a wonderful year at Los Cuates Middle School! Come by the library to see all of the wonderful books we have for you to check out. My wish is for you to find a book that will transport you to another time and place. I would like for you to find a book that piques your curiosity and challenges you to want to learn more.

Check Out Policy
- You will need your District ID#.
- Two (2) books are allowed to be checked out at a time.
- Students have 30 days to return a book.
- Fines are assessed at $0.05 per day, per book. Fines will not exceed $1.00.
- Students will NOT be allowed to check out books if fines are pending.
- Students will NOT be allowed to check out books if a lost book has not been paid.
- Please remember to turn in books on time.
- Keep in mind that someone else may be waiting to embark on the adventure you hold in your hands.

* When saving your work, always bring a USB. Any work saved on the computer will be deleted once a student logs off, unless you are saving through your Office 365 account.
* Printing is allowed at no charge for classroom/school work only. Please ask librarian for help when printing.

Copyright Policy
ALL LCMS STUDENTS and STAFF are expected to comply with the 1976 Copyright Act (title 17, U.S. Code) Fair Use Guidelines (section 107) when reproducing literary works, musical and dramatic works i.e. song lyrics, pictorial, graphic works and sound recordings.
